Meet Brinkley!
Hello! My name is Brinkley Goff, and I am an Associate Licensed Counselor practicing under the supervision of Whitney Jerkins, LPC-S. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate life's challenges while fostering confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
My counseling approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, primarily Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where children and teens feel safe, valued, and understood. By building a strong therapeutic relationship, I help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and gain the confidence needed to overcome obstacles and thrive.
I believe that every child is unique, and treatment should be tailored to their individual strengths, needs, and goals. I also recognize the important role that parents and caregivers play in a child's success. Because meaningful change often happens both in and outside of the therapy room, I enjoy collaborating with families to strengthen relationships, enhance communication, and implement practical strategies that support growth at home, school, and in daily life.
I earned both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Counseling and Family Therapy from University of Mobile.
It is an honor to support children, adolescents, and families through seasons of growth, healing, and change. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child build the skills and confidence needed to reach their fullest potential.
