Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with an estimate of expected charges for medical and mental health services. This is known as a “Good Faith Estimate.”
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the anticipated cost of your care, including psychotherapy services and any other related healthcare expenses. Your estimate will be provided in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service or upon request.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from our office at any time before scheduling services.
